The Hobbiest SKILLS CLUB PITTSTON, PENNSYLVANIA
About

A place to spend your time well.

The Hobbiest is a private skills club for adults in downtown Pittston, opening summer 2026.

It's a place to spend your time learning hobbies and skills built for intentional living and being the best version of yourself. A place where all the things you wish you'd been taught actually are — calligraphy, sourdough, gardening, money, hosting, drawing, and a long list more.

Every series ends with an immersive experience, so you don't just learn skills — you live them.

The Curriculum

Four kinds of things, taught well.

01 — Practical

Life skills

The stuff school skipped.

Budgeting, investing, negotiation, public speaking, taxes, insurance, estate planning, first-time home buying, salary strategy.

02 — Creative

Hands-on crafts

The things you've always meant to try.

Calligraphy, drawing, watercolor, embroidery, flower arranging, sourdough, bookbinding, pressed flowers, hand lettering.

03 — Presentation

Style & poise

To feel actually put together.

Personal styling, makeup, hosting, tablescaping, modern etiquette, gift wrapping, English tea, couples dancing.

04 — Wellness

Body literacy

What your doctor never explains.

Sleep, hydration, cycle awareness, stress management, posture, meditation, food literacy, advocating at the doctor.

The Method

Learn, then live it.

Every series at The Hobbiest ends with an immersive experience. You don't just learn skills — you put them into the world.
